Our hot stone massage is a 90-minute "event" utilizing hand-selected, smooth, dark river rocks rich with iron ore to provide a deep-penetrating, healing heat to muscles and tissues. The rocks are positioned on, around, and under you body to provide a deep, relaxing warmth. The therapist holds the rocks in her palms as long, deep, soothing strokes are applied. At times cool stones may be used to provide a therapeutic benefit by flushing out toxins from especially tight areas, to help ground you, and to revitalize and cool you at the end of the treatment (You do still have to go home at some point!).
